Positive Reinforcement

We use reward-based methods to help puppies learn in a way that feels safe, fun, and encouraging.

Confidence Building

We help puppies gently work through new experiences, environments, sounds, textures, and social situations.

Training Throughout the Day

Short, age-appropriate learning moments are built naturally into the day to support focus, manners, and communication.

Social Play

Puppies are introduced to carefully supervised social interaction that encourages healthy play and positive puppy behavior.

Exploration

We create opportunities for puppies to explore their environment and build curiosity in a safe and controlled way.

Settling Exercises

Learning to calm down and switch off is just as important as learning to play. Puppies are guided through rest and settling time throughout the day.

Communication Skills Games

We use fun, engaging games to help puppies learn how to respond, interact, and connect with both people and other dogs.

What age is Puppy Day School for?

tiny Tails is designed for puppies under 4 months of age, during their key early development stage.

How often does my puppy attend?

  • 3 days per week

  • 5 hours per day

  • For a total of 4 weeks (12 sessions)

What does my puppy actually do during the day?

  • social play

  • confidence building

  • positive reinforcement learning

  • short training sessions

  • exploration and enrichment

  • rest and settling time

Everything is designed to be safe, structured, and age-appropriate.

Is this training or daycare?

It’s a bit of both — but better.

Puppy Day School is a structured development program, combining:

  • socialisation

  • early learning

  • routine

  • supervised care

It’s more than daycare and more practical than a once-a-week puppy class.

Will my puppy be trained?

We focus on foundations, not formal obedience.

Your puppy will begin learning:

  • engagement with people

  • confidence in new environments

  • calmness and settling

  • positive behavior patterns

Is it safe for young puppies?

Yes — safety is our top priority.

  • Puppies are introduced carefully

  • Play is supervised at all times

  • Activities are age-appropriate

  • Rest is built into the day

We create a controlled, positive environment to support early development.

Do puppies need vaccinations?

Yes. Puppies must be:

  • Up to date with age-appropriate vaccinations

  • Healthy and fit to attend

You will need proof before starting.

What if my puppy is shy or nervous?

That’s completely okay — and actually very common.

Our program is designed to build confidence gently, at your puppy’s own pace, with lots of positive support.

What if my puppy is very energetic?

  • structured play

  • positive learning

  • appropriate social interaction

  • rest and reset time

Do you provide updates?

Yes — we’ll keep you updated on how your puppy is settling, socializing, and progressing throughout the program.

What happens after the 4 weeks?

By the end of the program, your puppy will have:

  • more confidence

  • better social skills

  • improved ability to settle

  • a strong foundation for future training

We can also guide you on next steps (daycare, ongoing socialization, etc).
